The project comes from a former idea; to build a final the group in the VIADUKT, doing a building in the same language as the market building at the beginning, in that way concluding the project as a beginning and ending. What it is kept from the former style is longer the different existent covers of VIADUKT stores. With all that building a big covered and air-conditioned square. People of Zurich like a lot big squares to be able to make cultural acts.

 

From that idea there will be the different restaurants that are going to be part of the school, like a market. The part of school kitchens and residence are going to be on the ground floor under that cover. That buildings are transparent, crystal and moreover independent to the VIADUKT, they are joined among them because in that way the movement that has to be in the kitchen is easier. In the first building there will be the stove of the kitchens, in order to watch students while they are working. In the second building there will be settled the cool area, the cleaning one, and the store with cold cameras – those last ones more hidden -.

In the third there will be the desserts area and a classroom. In the fourth there will be a dressing room and a bar. All those buildings will be connected with an access to the residence which will be a fifth independent building. That one has got two floors, the ground floor where there will be the hall, the living room, the library, the study area and the different administrative offices. And the first floor where there will be the bedrooms, taking profit of the cover shape to build rooms in a double high with attic.

 

The classrooms are situated in the several existing areas of VIADUKT, where we take profit of that double high building some classrooms on the second floor. From that classrooms it can be watched the kitchens and in that way the teachers could evaluate the students.

 

The entrance, the reception and the toilets are placed in one of the areas of the VIADUKT where it is also profited the under stairs area to organise all the installations.
